About a hundred years ago, we spent 90% of our time outdoors. Today it's quite the opposite. Houses, cars, offices, schools or shopping malls are all built to be energy-efficient and well insulated, protecting us from the sun's natural daylight and warmth.

No wonder we feel distressed and sometimes depressed when being continuously exposed to artificial lighting alone.

It's amazing to see that even while spending two thirds of our time living under artificial lighting, we're not thinking about its consequences for the body and mind. Whereas people are concerned about organic food, pure water and clean air, the element by which our very life came into existence - light - is often forgotten.

Viva-Lite® and its partners want to change that. Our mission is not to produce the cheapest and biggest quantity or variety of light sources, but to identify, create and achieve the best possible light solutions and spectrum for our clients who have to live, work and breathe under artifical lights on a daily basis. Our standard is no other than the sun itself as everybody knows how good we feel when the sun is out.

Spectrum Analysis

Explanation

A brief comparison shows significant deficits in the light spectrum of normal energy saving lamps or tubes when compared with the sun. Viva-Lite® Full Spectrum Lights however balance these deficits by using a highly specialized manufacturing process.

*Note: even though we may identify a light source as "white" light, our eyes can be easily fooled by just mixing the three colors Red-Green-Blue (RGB) in the appropriate quantities so while being combined they appear as white. This is by no means the same as the sun's prismatic spectrum of light frequencies that lead to a real "sunlight-feel" white light(!)
